EUSId is about bringing European teenagers together in order to foster a European identity and consciousness based on plurality, tolerance and cooperation between individuals, as well as strengthening the European civil society by further developing democratic processes on the national and international levels. The speech:

Buna ziua, everyone! Thanks to the Erasmus+ S(t)imulating European Identity project, we have made a lot of new friends from five different countries: Romania, Greece, Latvia, Finland and Portugal. We owe this to the EU for financing the program. Thank you, EU! On the first day, Monday, we got to know the school and also got familiar with the foreign students, which turned out to be our friends. As an introduction to the project, we went to the Europe Direct Centre to watch some very entertaining videos about the European Court of Justice, since that was what we would simulate later on. We also got to walk around the city thanks to the questionaires we ran about "What is Brexit?" On Tuesday morning, we got to present the teaching scenarios about Brexit that we had prepared for the other students. However, the highlight of the morning was the International Coffee Break. (Laura) My personal favorite was the Finnish chocolates. After having lunch at school, we did something new! There was a training session for the European Court, where we simulated a case in which Tarzan was accused of kidnapping Jane. Truly an outrage, if I may say. We also took care of the written part of the procedure. On Wednesday, we had to wake up very early in order to catch a bus to Bucharest! The ride was veeeeery long, but fun. Then, when we arrived, some of couldn't believe we were going to visit the Romanian House of the Parliament. There, we had a fancy lunch. We wanted to go out and look around Bucharest afterwards, so we attempted a protest in order to leave. However, it didn't work, so we procceeded on the tour. We also had coffee at a Café inside the Parliament, which was a chance to talk to the exchange students! At the end of the tour, everyone was very tired so, while some of us were partying on the back of the bus, the others were taking a nap. Then, the day everyone had been waiting for: Thursday, Simulation Day. It was quite complicated and serious, but thanks to the Training Session, we had a few guidelines that made it easier. Some were judges, some were lawyers and some were witnesses and experts. We also can't forget the indispensable help of Ms. Luminita, who coordinated everything effectively and kept the case moving smoothly. It was a lot of fun to make up our own arguments and prepare our witnesses in order to try to win the case. There were also a lot of [OBJECTIONS!] On what grounds? [The simulation was so much fun.] And now, we're here on the last day. We want to thank everyone for the amazing adventures we've been through and for the unforgettable memories. The week went by so fast, and it's almost unbelievable that it's over. I know for a fact that we bonded deeply and that we'll stay in each other's hearts forever. We'll meet at some point in the future, I'm sure. I'll miss you tenderly. Multumesc!
